The 2020 Workday Charity Open is the first of two straight events that will be held at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. The 2020 Workday Charity Open field will feature three of the top five players in the world, including Brooks Koepka, who had to withdraw from the Travelers Championship after his caddie tested positive for COVID-19. Koepka, who’s won seven events on the PGA Tour, has earned just one top-10 finish this season ahead of Thursday’s 2020 Workday Charity Open tee times.
Koepka is going off at 14-1 in the latest 2020 Workday Charity Open odds from William Hill. Meanwhile, Justin Thomas, who’s recorded two victories this season, opened as the favorite at 11-1, while Jon Rahm is listed at 12-1 in the latest PGA odds. Before locking in your 2020 Workday Charity Open picks or entering any PGA DFS tournaments on sites like DraftKings or FanDuel, be sure to see the golf predictions and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine.
SportsLine’s prediction model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, is coming off yet another win, calling Bryson DeChambeau the outright winner at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last week. It has also nailed two of the last three majors entering the weekend. It predicted Gary Woodland’s first career major championship at the U.S. Open even though he wasn’t the favorite entering the weekend. The result: Woodland held off a late charge from Brooks Koepka and won by three strokes. The model also called Koepka’s historic victory at the 2019 PGA Championship, predicting he’d hold his lead in the home stretch.
In all, the advanced computer model has nailed a whopping six majors entering the weekend. This season, the model called Justin Thomas (15-2) winning the CJ Cup, Rory McIlroy (11-2) taking down the WGC-HSBC Champions and Viktor Hovland (11-1) earning his first career PGA Tour victory at the Puerto Rico Open.
McClure also returned a whopping +788 during the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge, including nailing top-five bets on Xander Schauffele +650 and Collin Morikawa +900. Additionally, the model was extremely high on 30-1 long shot winner Webb Simpson at the RBC Heritage. The model had him in the top five from the start and McClure’s best bets included Simpson winning outright. Those who followed that advice saw a whopping +3000 return. Anyone who has followed his golf picks has seen huge returns.
