A 2-year-old child died after falling from an apartment building window on Connecticut Ave in Northwest D.C.Thursday afternoon, police say.
D.C. police along with fire and EMS personnel were called to 4545 Connecticut Ave NW at about 1 p.m. for a report of a child who fell out of an upper floor window.
Police said at least one parent was home at the time the child fell out of the window.
The child was taken to a local hospital after the incident. Police are investigating.
